Buenaventura is a port city and municipality located in the department of Valle del Cauca, Colombia (South America). Buenaventura is the main port of Colombia in the Pacific Ocean.Buenaventura itself doesn’t have much to offer the tourist. The city is rough-looking and when the tide carries away the water, the litter-strewn mud flat which is exposed does little to inspire bathing. Buenaventura really only serves the tourist as a gateway to more interesting and picturesque parts such as Juanchaco and Ladrilleros, several kilometers north along the coast, and San Cipriano, a jungle town located slightly inland. The main bus terminal is near the centre of Buenaventura. In an effort to promote tourism in and around the city there often helpful guides on hand to give you information and to lead you to the dock if you plan to visit Juanchaco and Ladrilleros. They are easily visible in tour guide T-Shirts and if you don’t spot them chances are they’ll spot you.Buenaventura’s population is mostly of African descent (85%) with 10% mixed European/Native Indian and 5% Spanish.

Facatativá is a town and municipality in the Cundinamarca Department, located about 28 miles (42 km) northwest of Bogotá, Colombia and 2,586 meters above sea level. Its name means “Enclosured at the end of plain” in Chibcha language. It has an industrial infrastructure for the region development and is projected as an appropriated city for new investors in Cundinamarca. The climate depends from the latitude and the altitude. It has two dry seasons: one from July and September and other in December and February. It also has two raining seasons: March and June, and September and December. The average temperature is 13ºC.The word Facatativá has its roots on the indigenous Chibcha language spoken by the Muisca people. It has had different translations. Facatativa’s most important building is the Cathedral located on the Simon Bolivar Plaza in downtown Facatativá.On July 20, 1911 an obelisk was inaugurated at the “Plaza of the Republic” known today as Santander Park as a way to honor the independence heroes killed there on August 31, 1816. By the time Facatativá had become a gate for to the New Kingdom of Granada and it was also a place for the trading of produce from warmer and colder climates.Panamericana: It connects Facatativa with Santa Fé de Bogotá and Madrid Mosquera, Funza, Albán, Guayabal de Siquica, Villeta, Guaduas municipalities and the northern departments.

Colorado is a western state in the Rocky Mountains region of the United States of America.Colorado is nicknamed the “Centennial State” because it was admitted to the Union as the 38th state in 1876, the centennial year of the United States Declaration of Independence. The people of Colorado are known for being extremely laid-back. Coloradans can be described as “cultured cowboys”, both rugged and classy. Denver offers the hustle and bustle of a quickly growing city, however escape to the wilderness is less than an hour and a half away. City planners have also been careful to leave ample room for parks, greenways, and natural scenery throughout the city. There is even a kayaking course on the Platte River in the middle of downtown!Colorado is split down the middle north to south by the Rocky Mountains. To the east is a region of high prairie, dry and wide open. To the west are rugged mountains arranged in various groups or ranges. All major airlines fly into Denver International Airport as it is the major hub for the region, and in fact the ninth busiest airport in the world.Amtrakruns the California Zephyr from Emeryville to Chicago, stopping in Denver, Winter Park, Grandby, Glenwood Springs, and Grand Junction.

lowa is a state located in the Midwestern United States, an area often referred to as the “American Heartland.” It derives its name from the Ioway people, one of the many American Indian tribes that occupied the state at the time of European exploration.Iowa, like most of the Midwest, has a humid continental climate throughout the state (Koppen climate classification Dfa) with extremes of both heat and cold. Most people enter (and leave) Iowa via Interstate 80 if coming from the east or west, I-35 from the north or south. Both interstates are pretty easy to navigate, as are many Midwestern states,Its rich cultural heritage can be seen in the German Amana Colonies, with their many historic sites and museums. The tulips of Pella reflect the town’s Dutch past and Des Moines, Iowa’s capital, was clearly named by French explorers.Iowa was home to many famous individuals such as Herbert Hoover, John Wayne (born in Winterset, Madison County), Glenn Miller and Grant Wood, to name a few. It was part of the Lewis and Clark expedition and many other historic events.

Connecticut is a state in the New England region of the northeastern United States. It is bordered by Rhode Island to the east, Massachusetts to the north, and New York to the west and south.Connecticut is rich with history, nature, art and beauty. Truly something for everyone. While many people are drawn each year to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Casinos, there is much more in this state. There are a number of beaches at the shore, state parks and forests throughout the state, and many smaller parks as well. Gillette Castle State Park in East Haddam is an excellent family destination,The Quinebaug and Shetucket Rivers Valley in northeastern Connecticut has been called “the last green valley” in the Boston-to-Washington megalopolis. Close to Hartford, Providence, and Worcester but far enough away to avoid urban sprawl, this 850 square mile region remains predominately rural. Roadways winding through rolling hills link the region’s many small towns, villages, farmlands and forests. Old mills dot the lowlands along the Quinebaug and Shetucket rivers and their tributaries. The park is best reached through Putnam. Connecticut is the infamous birthplace of Lyme Disease. Make sure you know what to do if you are bitten. Tick season is usually from the spring to the fall.

Hawaii is the 50th state of the United States of America. Situated nearly at the center of the north Pacific Ocean, Hawaii marks the northeast corner of Polynesia.Hawai’i is an archipelago of over nineteen distinct volcanic islands located over a geological “hot spot” in the Central Pacific.White beaches, blue waters and colorful coral reef encircle rainforest-covered cliffs to create the ultimate island paradise—Hawaii.Oahu, nicknamed “the Gathering Place,” is the most populous and developed island. Its southern shore is home to the city of Honolulu.Maui is the second largest island in the chain and is home to 10,023 foot (3,055 m) tall volcanic mountain crater of Haleakala.Molokai, the “Friendly Isle,” is one of the least developed islands in the chain. It is home to Kalaupapa, the leper colony on Molokai’s north shore that was the home of Father Damien.
Hawaii, as tourist bureaus and Hollywood constantly remind us, is ‘paradise.’ Push past the hype and what do you find? Darned if they’re not right. Hawaii is hiking sculpted cliffs or diving coral-reef cities in the morning and drinking mai tais to slack-key guitar at sunset. It’s slurping juicy papayas with hibiscus flowers in your hair; it’s Pacific Rim cuisine, fiery volcanoes and cavorting whales. By serendipity and design, Hawaii is an almost flawless destination.

Brazil is the biggest country in South America.Brazil is very much a land of contrasts. It borders every other country of the continent except Chile and Ecuador. It is a country of great diversity, from the bustling urban mosaic of São Paulo to the infinite cultural energy of Pernambuco and Bahia, the untouched wilderness of the Amazon rainforest and world-class landmarks such as the Iguaçu Falls, there is plenty to see and to do in Brazil.
Some of the world’s most exciting cities lie inside of Brazil’s borders, and travelers need not come to Carnaval to experience the music, dance and revelry that pack so many calendar nights. The most visited places in Brazil includes Fernando de Noronha Island, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo (the two bustling megacities of the south-east), the more relaxed city of Salvador in the northeast, or the old colonial towns of Ouro Preto and Olinda. For natural beauty, try a visit to Iguacu Falls. If you have the chance the best time to visit is Carnival.
In Southern Brazil you can visit the state of Santa Catarina, which is visited every year by people who prefer not too crowded spots like major cities or places where all tourists go,Your Brazilian vacations can include very diverse world top destinations: Rio de Janeiro, Manaus (and the Amazon), tropical beach resorts in the Northeast, and Iguassu Falls can all be part of your Brazil Travel Package.

Itagüí is part of the Metropolitan Area of Medellín.Itagüí by far has the best transportation in all of Colombia with closeness only from Medellín and Bogotá.[citation needed] It also has two metro stations that link it directly to Medellín and other municipalities. It has a vast “colectivo” (micro-bus) and bus system which conforms very well with the needs of the city.Located to the South in Itagui this is an area to walk through and search for bargains on clothing. It´s a good idea to enter one of the mall-type areas (the main adjacent to a visible tower) in order to get away from the vendors who do tend to hassle you with promises of good offers.
Itaui is also the place where the Itaui Maximum Security prison is located.

Montería is a municipality and city located in Northern Colombia, capital of the Department of Córdoba. The city is located 50 KM (30 Miles) away from the Caribbean, by the Sinú River. Montería was located within the boundaries of the Colombian Department of Bolívar until 1952 when it separated from Bolívar and became the capital of the new Department of Córdoba. The city of Monteria, Columbia is situated in the Sinu valley and is divided by the Sinu river. The entire region is surrounded by natural attraction. The place is however sparsely populated and boasts of the tropical flora and fauna that is characteristic of the region. The weather conditions are mild, being mainly warm. The Monteria Travel will show the tourist that the annual yearly temperatures in the region are around 27 degrees Celsius. Besides the terrain being on the river banks is subject to flooding. Monteria lies on a major highway connecting Medellín to Sincelejo and extending to Cartagena and Barranquilla. It has an effective public transportation system and arterial connections to the rest of the country.Monteria is home to a regional airport, Los Garzones Airport, which provides service to capital cities of neighboring provinces and to the nations capital, Bogotá, though the country’s main air carrier Avianca.

Popayán is a small city, capital of the Colombian department of Cauca. It is located in southwestern Colombia between the western and central mountain ranges. This town is well-known because of its beautiful colonial architecture and its contributions to Colombian cultural and political life. It is also known as the “white city” due to the color of most colonial houses and places in the center of the city,Unfortunately, and earthquake in 1983 destroyed many buildings, though a signifcant number have survived. Nearby is Puracé National Park, a geothermal wonderland of hot springs, waterfalls, and a (currently) inactive volcano from which the park derives its name. The nearest large city is Cali, in the neighboring Department of Valle del Cauca, to the north A tour from Popayan that one should consider is to visit the picturesque mountain town of Silvia, some 60km northeast of Popayan. This small town is best known for it’s Tuesday market, which is also full of Otavalo and Guambiano Indians who come from their nearby villages (some as far away as Ecuador) on market days. The colourful indigenous market is best early in the morning. Always ask before taking photos here. There’s various hotels in Silvia.Parque Caldas ranks as one of my favourite squares in the whole country and it’s a fantastic spot to relax in for a while and watch the world go by. The cathedral to the south of the square is worth peaking inside.Popayan’s largest church, la Iglesia de San Francisco, is situated two blocks west of Parque Caldas next to the Monasterio Hotel. It’s a beautfiul church with a small plaza in front of it.Iglesia La Ermita is the city’s oldest church a few blocks east from the south east corner of calle 5. From the slight elevation of the church is a nice view back along calle 5 with the trees of Parque Caldas poking over the slated roofs (see photo, left). To the north east of Parque Caldas lies Morro de Belalcazar, a hill with a great view overlooking the city. At certains times of the year trees covered in pink blossom can be seen peeking out from between the white buildings; a beautiful sight! At the base of the hill is a small mock colonial town (similar to ‘Pueblito Paisa’ in Medellin). Within it are small shops selling snacks and artwork.
